Thandie graced the cover of “BlackBook” magazine’s October 2008 issue.
I have added scans of the magazine to the gallery. The shoot used in the scans has also been added and can be seen here. Thandie also gave an interview to “The Advocate” back in October. A scan of that is available here.

The gallery has finally been updated with all the images of events that Thandie attended since my last update. I am sorry and a little angry to tell you that I have still not received the layout I ordered for the site. I have been waiting for a long time now. Although the site is not fully up yet I wish all of you who are visiting already a very happy holiday season and enjoy the newly added images.

I have added another gorgeous photoshoot to the gallery. You might recognize it from Glamour Magazine a while back. Thandie recently gave an interview on her role in RocknRolla. Here’s a little bit of what she said.

“The character was written strong in the first half and then just dwindled away when it had gotten more serious so I basically said, ‘Look, think of me as a guy.’ From the middle of the movie to the end, I would change things and he was totally open to it, and that was so liberating, because it’s his material. He just said, ‘All right, this is your character. I may have written it one way, but I want you to do what you want.”

“Access Hollywood” visited the set of Oliver Stone’s upcoming movie “W.” A clip of exclusive behind the scenes footage is available online. Josh Brolin can be seen shooting a few scenes as President Bush. Sadly Thandie who portrays The United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is not featured in the clip. You can take a look at it here

You might have noticed that I added lots of new pages. I also created parent pages and sub-menus to clean up the mess a little. The Domain and WWW sections are new. GUY RITCHIE is praying his next movie ROCKNROLLA turns around his Hollywood fortunes, because he has already written a sequel.
After a string of box office flops, Ritchie is banking on the underworld thriller capturing the imagination of cinema-goers.
It stars Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton and Jeremy Piven, and follows London gangsters fighting for a share of a real estate scam.
Ritchie already has a sequel written and ready to shoot: “I’ve written one. So people better go see it. It’ll allow me to make the next one.”

Depending on who you ask, Oliver Stone’s upcoming George W. Bush biographical movie is either the best idea since kegerators or a fast and loose slap-in-the-face to this great country we call America. Personally, I lie firmly in the former group and the just-released teaser trailer only reinforces my beliefs.

Josh Brolin does a killer W, while Thandie Newton looks so much like Condoleezza Rice it’s scary. Seriously, wait for it during the cast roll at the end - it’s an amazing transformation. The film’s release date is still up in the air, but Stone hopes to release it sometime during the month prior to November’s presidential election.
